The Safety, Health and Environment National Authority, SHENA signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU with the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore on Work Attachment. The MoU marked a significant milestone for SHENA as it represents SHENA's first MoU with an international partner, as well as its first collaboration with an ASEAN member state in the area of occupational safety and health. The signing took place at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

Witnessing the signing was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as the Minister Responsible for SHENA. The MoU was signed by Awang Haji Muhsin bin Haji Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of SHENA, and Silas Sng, Divisional Director for the Occupational Safety and Health Division, Ministry of Manpower, Singapore.
